1. What Unthink is – and is not
Unthink is a self-help tool with short guided exercises for moments of worry and overthinking.
- It is not a medical device, does not diagnose anything and does not treat any condition.
- It does not replace a doctor, therapist or emergency service.
- The exercises are general techniques. They help many people; they are not guaranteed to help you, and we make no promise of a specific result.
If you are in danger or think you might hurt yourself, call your local emergency number or a crisis line now. The app's "Get help" screen lists numbers for some countries; it may not cover yours and numbers can change.
Chest pain, trouble breathing or other physical symptoms can have medical causes. If in doubt, get medical help instead of using the app.
2. Using the app
You may use Unthink for yourself, privately. You need to be at least 16. The licence terms are Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement linked above.
3. Free version and Premium
Three basic exercises and the help screen are free without a time limit. Everything else is part of Unthink Premium, a subscription:
- Plans: monthly (US$8.99) and yearly (US$44.99), or the equivalent in your local currency. The price shown in the app at the time of purchase applies.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. Purchases are concluded with Apple; withdrawal is handled through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
4. Your content
What you write in the app stays on your phone (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your phone secure. We cannot restore content that was deleted or lost.
5. Availability and changes
We may change, add or remove exercises and features. We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
6. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is unaffected.
7. Law
German law applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain in force. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
